If you have never been to a chiropractor before,
you may be wondering what a chiropractic examination entails.
This page should answer any questions you might have in that
area. Also, you can qualify for a complimentary exam by filling
out our health survey.
Your first visit to Greenspan Chiropractic
will include the following:
- A Preliminary Consultation With the Doctor
We will take your complete health history,
including all past injuries, persistant problems, and any current
maladies. The doctor will then discuss with you how you can
be helped by chiropractic.
- An Orthopedic & Neurological Examination
of the Spine
Examination of the spine is the "backbone"
of a chiropractic exam.
- X-Rays, if needed
If the doctor deems that x-rays are neccessary,
they will be taken on site. Patients are always shown their own
x-rays and are encouraged to ask questions.
- A Report of Findings
After studying your health history and the
results of your examination, the doctor will meet with you
to report findings and lay out a course of treatment.
If the doctor determines that Chiropractic
cannot help you, we will refer you to a specialist who can.
